2008 Sunglasses

Last designer year saw some new changes in sunglasses. It is nice to see the Tom Ford Whitney being such an influential sunglasses design. It is amazing that a new design can change the fashion market of today. For 2008 there are a lot of frames influenced by this iconic design and the style has of course been re-invented and developed further.

Customisable Sunglasses were launched in 2007 by Oakley and Sunglasses Shop developed the first UK customisable sunglasses shopping pages. In 2008 the built to order eyewear will be growing from strength to strength.

The biggest style of the year though was of course the Wayfarer. Look out for loads of new colours and shapes in 2008. Gradient lenses are what to be buying for the new year. Gradient lenses in aviators, in visors. In fact most sunglasses can now be bought with a gradient and the celebrities are loving it.
