Once again Smith sunglasses accompanied a great sporting triumph: Smith-sponsored athlete Andrea Oddone won the Italian Bike Trial Championship held Sunday, October 14 at Boario Terme (Brescia).

The best Italian bikers battled it out on the outdoor course made for the occasion. At the end of the race, the eleventh and last of the Championship, the tricolor shirts were awarded for the various categories.

Andrea Oddone won the first Italian title in 1999 on a 20” BMT. Many more successes later, this year he came first in one of the most demanding championships: a circuit of 11 trials that were held between March and October from Udine to Rieti. After winning the Catalan Championship at Barcelona in 2006, his second year in the 26” Mountainbike Trial category, he won the Italian Champion shirt in the Elite 26” category.
